Holidays just aren’t the same without Coke apparently. I’m not exactly sure what would change though if there was no Coke in the fridge? We might have to drink…water!
I’m not sure how a sugary, carbonated, chemical-laden beverage brings life to the holidays but it’s clearly advertising that works. It’s all about making the connection between happy times, holidays and a product – Coke. Santa is a positive, attractive figure so it only seems natural that you connect a positive figure (or person) with a product you want people to buy.
